nah again. instead of spending my time with goyang-kaki-sampai-patah activities, i found myself today doing this.
no time been wasted, but only the stomach being filled up.

and for my own reference in future ahead (*p/s- and for the sake of heloparahim.blogspot.com aka blog masakan!!) I would gladly leave the howtomakethis.

so what needed for the dough for 5 mini pizzas are...
300g bread flour
1 teaspoon yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon milk powder
pinch of salt
125ml water
a tablespoon of butter

First prepare the yeast by adding into the water and stir abit with finger liao. next add a bit sugar and stir again abit. Next, prepare bread flour + milk powder + sugar + salt + butter in a mixing bowl. Now, add the yeast mixture into the mixing bowl and knead. Use your bread mixer for a better tomorrow. Ngiahaha!

Then just put whatever you like as your topping.
200°C for 11 minutes

First of all Happy Birthday to my Dad who might not know my blog and now actually I am going to post the ice cream cake recipe dat I made today for this entry but before that I wanna scream out lout that I am exempted, aka dikecualikan from PLKN LANGKAWEEEEE.
Weeee thanks to Matrikulasi Perak. Weez.
I prefer to continue my study rather than going PLKN.
Well although actually I'm not being dikecualikan but actually ditangguh but I can see from my psychic vision that next coming years PLKN akan dibubarkan so maybe I won't get a chance to experience PLKN at all. Tehhee yayme. I am glad to be Farahim Daud.

Woohkay so now let us see the recipe after so many days I didnt post anything bout food.

In conjunction with my beloved dad's birthday, I decided to make a cake but as my dad doesn't really like typical cakes with tons of icing,so I go for ice-cream cake! muehehe. And everything thanks to Nigella Lawson.

the recipe is very easy but the product will be very spectacular like Nigella says. This cake is served with butterscotch sauce which is sooo sweet smelling and soooo yummy. Yeah guys you should try. There no need microwave, no baking powder, no flour no eggs but just need these ingredients:

ordinary vanilla ice cream
choc chips (whatever flavor u want)
honey almond or whatever kind of nuts u prefer
golden biscuit or brown biscuit
cadbury crunchie
(and you might love to add whatever you like)

and then just mix em together after breaking the biscuits and honey-comb cadbury crunchie into pieces and dusts.
then refrigerate em.

next for the butterscotch sauce u will only need:

butter
granulated white sugar
light brown sugar
golden syrup
double cream( i use whipping cream instead)
vanilla extract

and serve it with the cake. the smell of butterscotch is so yummy that you might thinking of making it as your perfume lol =='

and by the way, here is the original recipe made by Nigella Lawson~

p/s- At this very moment the cake is not serve yet. just waiting the perfect time for mum and especially dad to come home. Hope they like this one :)

Almost like 2 days already couldnt connect with the world of internet peacefully.

When u gotta lots of ideas like mencurah-curah ke ladang gandum and at that very momment jugak la the internet trying to mess with ya. How’d ya feel? Like lembu dipenyet gajah isnt it? Grrrrrrrrrr.....

But neymind. I’m okayy. I mean I now feel very relax and wuishhhh sooooo fuckin happy(though the thoughts bout plkn langkawi is haunting me)

And everything thanks to Allah. Alhamdulillah I did my best for my interview today. The interview which I thought would consists alot essence of pressures, stress and etc turns out to be a real fun interview. Of which we only need to built a spaghetti bridge to link the gap between two tables with a group of 8 ppl. And fyi, seven of them were from boarding school. Okay let be honest, at first I was abit frustrated that I’m the only Harians. But then, I realised deep in my heart I am actually proud because I’m the only Harians so I can prove to ‘em dat Harians also got-talent. YAYME!~ Teheee.

hiahiahia. So I just got back home and receive a love letter from my dear postman. Oh I am so gonna thank you Mr Postman. <3

So, like you dont know and you will know, few days ago*15 april* , I departed from Penang Airport to Seokarno-Hatta International Airport. Muehhehe
And as you can guess, yes I was in Jakarta!

teheee. The main reason my fam and I took flight to Jakarta was because of Poha's graduation day. teheee congrats to euuuu. And so we stayed like 4 days there. Though the period was short, I somehow felt so happy excited and all that. zz.

And the picture above was the view from bajaj (pronounce as bajai). Uh-oh my first bajai ride~ Bajai is a motor-like vehicle. Famous there. Ngiahaha but k-kinda scary. And to be true I am bit worried when at Jakarta(while on road) as they drive so close, very near to others vehicle and they was like almost colliding and crashing and whatever so scary. I think if I live there, I won't dare to think of taking driving license. Uh-oh. But I'm kinda impressed that they can tolerate while driving, and they use their hon as a method of communication (like hey I want to go first) and impressed they still can stay calm and cool in such situation. Back in Malaysia hon is a symbol of anger (from my point of view ya)

Tadaa!! Now shall we talk about food? Yes, we shall. And here was the place where my family went for lunch and dinner and lunch and dinner and lunch and dinner and blablabla. Yes, the nasi padang was tasty and my father loves padang-padang a lot. Thats why we always ended up here. And then here's my favourite Es Jeruk

Tadaaa. These are few things of what I did today. I dropped by to someone's blog and get impressed about the world of photoshop so I take an effort to do the same thing; Stereographic Image. First I use the same picture as the tutorial did, just to make sure I understand the tutorial. By the way, here's the link of the blog.

btw when i look at stereographic images I always have a flashback to
Rolie Polie Olie, a robot-like cartoon which I always tune in
before I go to school when I was in my primary education~

And then, I google up some pictures and again, using Photoshop CS5 to make Stereographic effect and here are the results:

Ngiahaha and the idea was brilliant. So next time maybe Sarah would love to try this by herself pulak. Ngiaahhaha
Best thing about biscotti is they dont need butter like some cakes or cookies recipes do. And yeahh it will save the budget. So easy to make but takes some time

And you will only need:

flour
granulated sugar
blanched whole almonds, toasted and chopped coarsely
vanilla extract
baking powder

salt
eggs
chocolate or chocolate chips

Today I was touched by Faraha's hospitality towards me.
So I am kinda forced to post this entry to like somehow show my gratitude dat will makes her syokk telebey. z.
This was what she cooked for me memandangkan I'm having a fever. Tiba-tiba dia jadi baik. And thats good. Never (like rarely lah) been able to see her so dilligent but today somehow proves and shows me the good part of her. Muehehe.
Btw, cant praise too much cuz this dishes was made by using... well you know, perencah maggi 'spaghetti bolognese'

So this is what we call lefse.
Lefse is something that look like this and tastes like heaven mostly for the potato lovers as the main ingredient for lefse is the potato itself. Now, before the next day start I suggest myself to make this Norwegian flatbread with a little help from my sister to like somehow reduce my ketaq-taktau-nak-habaq-lagumana level =/
So let me tell you, to all the potato lovers around the world, lefse is the best thing you can have and is easy to make. So. come, try this recipe (click here for recipe). Seriously this is soso nice :)
But the thing is I just eat the flatbread on its own cause we don't have gulai today :( and plus I am not really sure Norwegian eat this flatbread with what and because it already tastes good

diabetes is a disease?

Assalamualaikum.
So hello again.
Did this with my sis few days ago. And was our first try :D
Yayme dah ada geng kat rumah. Used plenty of sugarrrr and soso sweeett. Thick buttercream icing on top surely can lead to diabetes if eaten all of em at a time. wargh.
**Actually sugar never did contribute to diabetes. It is just not a good idea to be consume by ppl who had already suffering from diabetes which their blood sugar level is already high. However it is also not a good idea for us which may not suffer from diabetes to say yes for high sugar intake because although sugar does not cause diabetes, excessive calories does. Excess caloric intake usually results in overweight and obesity - which is the main risk factor for diabetes :D
So lets us stay healthy and reduce the intake of sugar. 1 sudu sudah cukup. But in this case, my only advice is janganlah selalu buat cupcakes!! haha (rasa macam buat esei biology pulak)

So here we go again.
Belog masakan kah?

I was hella hungry at midnight so i decided to google everything about food and i found ayam bbq yang senang~

So I decided to do it. Padahal kalau I buat sekarang, bukannya I boleh makan sekarang pun. Kena marinate for bout 2 to 3 days like dat la kan.
So macam excited gila so buat ah. And was superduper easy.
Lagipun actually tengah download 1 benda ni. So sementara nak tunggu download habis I buat la benda ni.
I followed the recipe ( click here for recipe ) very carefully but amount gula dia I kurangkan sebab buat sikit ja noh. And then I missed 1 ingredient. nama dia ketumbar. what the hell is that? Sebab tu la I takbuh. Sebab taktau.

Dah siap buat siap masuk fridge baru tau apadia tu pun lepas google search. Nak tanyak mak, tobat dia tidok dah. haha.
So, ni la orang panggil ketumbar eyy. Ok cool, baru tau. And daun ketumbar tu pun baru tau orang panggil dia daun ketumbar. Sebelum ni dok ingat daun sup@coriander leaves ja. Kurang pengetahuan ye.

so. stay tuned nak tgk apa jadi nanti. 2-3 ye kita marinade :)

p/s- semakin menjadi blog masakan and lantaklah. waktu2 ni je pun nak main masak-masak kat umah. nanti belajaq mana nak dan dah kankankan??

Nama saya farahim. Nama betul Farahim Daud. Nama paling betul, refer my ic. Lately (memandangkan spm dah habis) saya dok saja instead of bekerjaya macam some of my friends did. Bukannya malas tapi memang mempunyai keinginan untuk bekerjaya cuma Malas la jugak nak pi cari kerja.

Disebabkan saya selalu berada di rumah, saya tiba-tiba syok pulak main masak-masak. Tambahan pula ibubapa saya bekerja di waktu pagi sampai petang. Jadi mau xmau saya main masak-masak sorang-sorang. Memandangkan juga brader+kak saya, depa takdak kat umah. Ada yang stadi ada yang dah keja.

Saya selalu menyedut internet drp bekalan telekom. Maksud saya hari-hari saya online. Untuk masa ini saya sangat addicted dengan game yang bernama Cityville kat facebook tuh. Ntah camna bila saya nampak abang saya main Cityville dengan hati yang girang, saya tiba-tiba terfollow the flow. Dan akhirnya telah menjadikan saya Mayor bagi Bandar Kuda Laut, Facebook, 08000 Sungai Petani, Kedah Malaysia. Saya sangat berkembang hati dan berbangga pabila saya berjaya capai level 13 ka 15 tah lam masa sehari. Well, a good start. Terima kasih juga kepada neighbor-neighbor yang telah banyak membantu dalam menjayakan karier saya sebagai cik mayor. I LOVE YOU CITYVILLE :P

Sebenarnya, tujuan saya mengarang bagai karangan tak lebih 120 patah perkataan ini adalah untuk mengimbau kembali kenangan pahit, kelat semasa membuat karangan sepanjang saya menjadi pelajar sekolah. Chocolate Frangipane Tart

for crust

1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
9 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1 Egg Yolk
2 Tablespoons Cold water


i just used foil ware. easy to dispose after use

To prepare the crust, combine flour, salt, and powdered sugar in a food processor and pulse. Add cubed, very cold butter and process until butter is in small pieces. Then add egg yolk and two Teaspoons of ice water. Pulse a few times to combine. Try not to over mix. The dough won't ball up like some do.
Press dough into a buttered tart pan with a removable bottom. Work slowly and be sure to get the dough evenly pressed up the edges. You probably won't need all the dough to finish lining the pan. Just be sure to get an even layer all pressed lightly all over the pan.
Put the tart pan on a baking sheet (just so you don't accidentally hit the removable bottom) and freeze it for 30 minutes.
Line the inside of the crust with a piece of foil that's been lightly buttered on the side that touches the crust. Press the foil tightly against the crust. Then bake this at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Let crust cool on a wire rack.

Frangipane layer

6 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
2/3 Cups Sugar
3/4 Cups ground Almonds
2 Tablespoons Flour
1 Teaspoon Corn Starch
1 Large Egg + 1 Egg white
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Teaspoon Almond Extract

note: from the original recipe, it says use 2 teaspoon almond extract but don't put two. one teaspoon is perfect.

Combine butter and sugar for frangipane in a food processor. Process until well combined. Then add almond meal, flour, and cornstarch and pulse to combine. Then add eggs and combine until smooth. Finally, mix in vanilla and almond extract.
Once your crust is cool, pour frangipane into crust and smooth it evenly. Then bake at 350 for 25 minutes. The frangipane should puff up nicely.

Choc

6 Ounces Bittersweet Chocolate
1/2 Cup Cream
1 Large Egg Yolk
1 Large Egg
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1/2 Tablespoon Flour
1 Pinch Salt

Meanwhile, make chocolate layer by melting cream and chocolate together in a sauce pan over low heat. Once completely melted, remove from heat and let cool for a minute.
Whisk other chocolate ingredients together in a medium bowl. Then whisk chocolate/cream mixture in with eggs. Work slowly and whisk it well until it's smooth.
Pour chocolate mixture on top of Frangipane layer. Return to the 350 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes or until chocolate layer is lightly set.
Remove and cool completely on a wire rack. Then remove tart from baking pan and set it on a bowl so the bottom pushes the tart up and out of the mold.

Ingredients
配料
* 1 large onion - diced
* 4-5 tablespoons black pepper
* 2 tbsp. tomato sauce
* 2 tbsp. dark soy sauce
* 1 cup chicken stock
* 1 tbsp. corn flour (mixed with 1/2 cup of water)
* 2 tbsp. evaporated milk
* 1 tbsp. butter to sauté
* salt and sugar to taste

Methods
方法
1. Heat butter and sauté onion until withered.
2. Add in the chicken stock that are mixed with 1 cup of water.
3. Cook until sauce is slightly thick, add tomato sauce, black pepper, soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir and cook until slightly thickened.
4. Put the milk, stir well.
5. Season with salt and sugar.

Cuaca yang sangat best (hujan2 ayam) hari ni dah menyuntik semangat untuk bake a cake. Lol. Bangun lambat (11.30) tadi sebab mimpi buat kek yang sangat lawa tapi mimpi tebantut sat sbb mak gerak. So, bangun2 trus ingt nak wat kek. So buatlah walaupun kek stai besa-besa ja lah. Dah x dak apa nak buat. Mengganggurlah katakan. Gipun sapa saja yang nak makan. Teehee(geli ngat eh).

Right. Jadi macam besa, aku akan buat gaya makcik-makcik. Show off apa yang aku buat and gtau the recipe. Saja syok2. Saja nak belatih jadi makcik. Whooppss. Auntie. Bkn Makcik.

Baiklah puan2 tuan2 dirumah, apa yang kita perlukan yelah......

Tepung, Margarine, Gula Haluih, Teloq, Serbuk Koko, Baking Powder, Lil bit of salt, Almond and whatever you like.

So first, what u do is prepare tepung+baking powder+serbuk koko+a lil bit of salt. Kalau rajin guna sieve and ayak all of ‘em. Pastu kacau la sket2 bagi all of ‘em mix well. Next is, guna hat benda putaq2 tu, pi pukoi(kedah sikit na) margarine and gula haluih together sampai kembang. Pastu buh la telur. Pecah sebijik2 pukul sebijik2. Dah tu pi ambik tepung and all of ‘em tu, campur dan pukul. Bila dah masuk tepung jangan lama sangat pukul. Pastu siapla. Tabuq mai almond atas dia na. Dah boleh bake dah. 180C for 45 mins. Pastu sediakan perut dan makan.

this is what happen when i'm extremely hungry.

and for this time nama dia yelah bihun sempadan singapore. because it taste like bihun singapore but in the same time it taste like bihun goreng yang biasa tu jugak. z.

thanks god sedap gak.

so what i use to make this special dish are:

egg,salt,tumix,carrot,tomatoes,bean sprouts,chili paste,ketchup,chicken stock,rice vermicelli,soy sauce,garlic, red onion blend,fine black pepper and some pepper corn (grind).

i dont understand.
why something so simple should be made hard n tedious?
does nobody realize this?
i just dont get it why they create such stupid system (the blue colored co-curriculum book)
for me this system just waste alot of energy time and etc.
sorry but all i can see is the negative side of it.
- it waste our time for we have to fill in some stupid datas in the book and let teacher sign on it for our attandence
- it waste a lot of papers!save our trees. instead of producing these blue colored book better if they produce something else much more useful
- it is not releven. well you know, students are creative and desperate. we can simply cheat telling dat we attended so many club meetings and copy the signature without anybody knowing it.

2 cups butter

4 cups flour

2 tsp. baking soda

2 cups granulated sugar

2 cups brown sugar

5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder)

24 oz. chocolate chips

1 tsp. salt
1 8 oz. Hershey bar (grated)
4 eggs

2 tsp. baking powder

3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
2 tsp. vanilla

1.Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together
with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda.

2.Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts.

3.Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.

4.Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.
